Oggi con noi, un'artista che in poco tempo è riuscita a raggiungere grandi traguardi nel mondo della musica.
Cantautrice metà inglese e metà tedesca, nel 2017 ha iniziato il suo successo con il singolo "No Roots".
Dal 9 aprile, invece, è uscita con il suo super nuovo singolo "Vertigo".
Lei è Alice Merton.
Diamole il nostro più caloroso benvenuto e iniziamo.
Quando è iniziata la tua passione per la musica? e cosa diresti alla te bambina per fargli scoprire il tuo grande talento?
La mia passione per la musica è iniziata da molto giovane. Ho iniziato a suonare il piano a 5 anni, e a cantare quando ne avevo 9. Inoltre adoravo scrivere poesie nel mio tempo libero.
Direi alla me bambina solamente di continuare a seguire ciò che amo, e che a un certo punto tutta la pratica sarà ripagata!
Hai raggiunto tantissimi obiettivi nella tua carriera fino ad ora, qual è l'esperienza che ti ha lasciato più il segno e che ti è rimasta nel cuore?
Sono stata fortunata ad avere così tante esperienze fantastiche. Suonare al Late Night Show con Jimmy Fallon ed esibirmi al Coachella sono stati sicuramente momenti salienti della mia vita fino ad ora.
Tra tutte le tue canzoni se dovessi scegliere una sola frase da dedicare ai tuoi ascoltatori e fans, quale sarebbe?
Penso sarebbe "I wanna live in the now, I'm not going to live in the past, don't wanna care about what ifs, cause what if those things don't last" (Voglio vivere nel presente, non vivrò nel passato, non m'interessa dei 'e se...?', perché quelle cose non rimangono) dalla mia canzone Why So Serious (Perché sei così serio). Penso che tutti abbiamo bisogno di concentrarci nel presente più che nel passato.
"Vertigo" il tuo nuovo singolo, come lo descriveresti con tre aggettivi, tre emozioni e tre colori?
Aggettivi: Onesto, coraggioso, emotivo
Emozioni: Vulnerabilità, forza/potenza, paura
Colori: Blu, Viola, Arancione
Se potessi scegliere un posto in cui suonare nel mondo, a cui sei particolarmente legata, quale sarebbe e perchè?
Sceglierei probabilmente la mia città natale Oakville, Ontario in Canada dove sono cresciuta. Significherebbe moltissimo per me un giorno suonare lì.

Today with us, an artist who managed to reach many goals in the music industry in such a short time.
Half english and half german songwriter, she started her success with her single "No Roots".

When did your passion for music began? And would you say to your childhood self to show her your amazing talent?
My passion for music began when I was very young. I started playing the piano when I was 5, and singing when I was 9. I also loved writing poems in my free time.
I would tell my childhood self to just keep following what I love, and that at some point all the practising will pay off!
You achieved many goals in your career so far, what is the experience that left a mark on you and you keep in your heart?
I've been lucky to have so many wonderful experiences. Playing on the Late Night Show with Jimmy Fallon and performing at Coachella were definitely highlights of my life until now.
Of all your songs if I had to choose a lyrics to dedicate your listeners and fans, what would it be?
I think it would be "I wanna live in the now, I'm not going to live in the past, don't wanna care about what ifs, cause what if those things don't last" from my song Why So Serious. I think we all need to focuss more on the present rather than on the past.
"Vertigo" your new single, how would you describe it in 3 abjectives, emotions and colors?
Adjectives: Honest, Brave, Rocky
Emotions: Vulnerable, Powerful, Scared
Colours: Blue, Purple, Orange
If you could choose a place to play in anywhere in the world, to which your particularly attached to, what would it be and why?
I would probably choose my hometown Oakville Ontario in Canada where I grew up. It would mean the world to me to play there one day.
