Artista internazionale, conosciuta in tutto il mondo per il suo talento e per la sua musica.
One Last Time, è appunto, il suo nuovo singolo, uscito recentemente con il videoclip ufficiale.

Diamole il nostro caloroso benvenuto e iniziamo!
Iniziamo da una domanda piuttosto semplice ma molto importante, cosa significa la musica per te? E qual è la cosa più significativa che hai imparato da essa?
La musica è una forma d'espressione. È anche il modo in cui capisco prima me stessa. Scrivo per scavare le profondità della mia anima e della mia psiche e cercare di capire emozioni complicate e tramutare in qualcosa di artistico. È un modo di esprimermi e confortare me stessa e poi cerco di fare lo stesso per altre persone e facendo uscire una canzone. La cosa più significativa che ho imparato dalla musica è l'apprezzamento. Sono così grata di poter fare qualcosa di così catartico e che aiuta le altre persone. Mi dà grande piacere farlo. Sento di aver dato un senso alla mia vita attraverso la musica.
Uniamo amore e musica, dove prendi ispirazione per i tuoi brani? E c'è un posto nel mondo che hai nel cuore, dove di solito vai per scrivere le tue canzoni?
Non è un segreto che la mia maggiore ispirazione siano le donne. Le storie d'amore sono una grande ispirazione per me. È come una sorta di specchio. Alcuni partner non sono necessariamente veri specchi, anche se vogliono esserlo. L'amore è una cosa complicata e sono sempre affascinata da quanto complicato sia. Probabilmente spenderò la mia mia a cercare di risolverlo attraverso le canzoni, ma sono pronta per il compito.
Cosa vorresti dalla musica, cosa le chiederesti se fosse umana e sempre accanto a te? E se fosse invece come un genio della lampada, tre desideri che le chiederesti?
Se la musica fosse accanto a me, dovremmo fare sesso.
Se potessi esaudire 3 desideri, chiederei salute, felicità e pace.
“One last time”, anticipa il tuo nuovo album in uscita a fine anno. Che sound avrà il disco e che argomenti ritroveremo all’interno di esso? Ci puoi anticipare qualcosa?
Non posso dirvi nulla. Voglio che sia una sorpresa. L'album avrà molte informazioni al suo interno. Ci saranno un sacco di cose su come su come ho vissuto ultimamente e cose sul passato. La title track del mio disco sarà un po' diversa per me perché non sarà sull'amore. Ci saranno molte cose interessanti nell'album, e spero che vi piaccia.
Nel video di “One Last Time”, abbiamo potuto ammirare la bellezza e la classe di Jaime King!
Com’è nata l’idea del video e come mai, la scelta ricaduta proprio su Jaime?
Siamo buone amiche e sembrava la persona giusta per il vibe. Abbiamo sempre voluto fare qualcosa insieme. Ero tipo, "Lo farai?" e lei ha detto, "Sì!". È stata fantastica e si è adattata perfettamente. Ho pensato che fosse incredibile.
Parliamo di tour e live, cosa ti aspetti di sentire quando ritornerai sul palco? Inoltre, sei stata qui in Italia già un paio di volte, hai un ricordo in particolare dalle tue esperienze qui?
Onestamente non so cosa aspettarmi quando tornerò sul palco. Non ci sarà quasi nessuno? Le persone saranno l'una distante dall'altra? Sembrerà imbarazzante? È come tornare con un partner dopo non averlo visto per tanto tempo. O vederlo ad una festa dopo essersi lasciati. Sarà interessante, ma io sarò la stessa. Sarò emozionata!
Il mio ricordo più caro dell'Italia: Sanremo è stato piuttosto incredibile suonare con un'orchestra di 70 componenti e suonare La Taranta e poi cantare in italiano e ballare con tutte quelle persone diverse. È stato divertente.
Hai tante persone che ti sostengono e amano il tuo progetto, c'è un messaggio che ti hanno mandato fino ad ora, che ti ha colpito e commosso maggiormente?
Sempre. Più recentemente, quando ero in Messico, una madre ed i suoi due bambini sono venuti da me e lei mi ha detto che suo figlio più piccolo mi adorava e che ero la sua preferita. Era un bambino bellissimo. Qualche giorno dopo, hanno scoperto dove fossi in un supermercato e la famiglia è tornata. Il bambino indossava un bellissimo pareo e voleva che lo vedessi vestito come il suo vero io ed è stato bellissimo. Penso che fosse il suo messaggio per me, che gli ho permesso di essere se stesso e mostrare i suoi veri colori. È stato fantastico.

Let's give her a warm welcome and begin!
Let's start with quite a simple but very important question, what does music mean to you? And what is the most meaningful thing you learned by it?
Music is a form of expression. It's also how I figure out myself first. I'm writing to mine the depths of my own soul and my own psyche and I'm trying to understand complicated emotions and put them into an artistic thing. It's a way of expressing and comforting myself and then I try to do the same for other people and through putting a song out.
The most meaningful thing I have learned from music is appreciation. I am so grateful that I get to do something so cathartic and that helps other people. It gives me great pleasure to do that. It feels like I've made my life meaningful through music.
Combining love and music, where do you get inspiration for your songs? And is there a place you keep cose to your heart, anywhere in the world, where you usually go to write your songs?
It's no secret that my main inspiration is women. Romance is a big inspiration for me. It's like a mirror of sorts. Some romantic partners are not necessarily true mirrors, although they want to be. Love is a complicated thing and I am always in awe of how complicated it is. I will probably spend my life trying to unravel it through song, but I am up for the task.
What would you want from music, what would you ask her if it was uman and always beside you? And if it was like a genie of the lamp instead, which 3 wishes would you ask them?
If music was laying beside me, we would have to have sex.
If I could grant 3 wishes, I would ask for health, happiness, and peace.
"One last time", anticipates your new album coming out by the end of the year. What sound will the album have and what topics we will find in it? Can you tell us something about it?
I can't tell you anything. I want it to be a surprise. The album will have a lot of information on it. It will have a lot of things about how I've been living lately and things about the past. The title track on my record will have a little bit of a different swing for me because it's not about love. There will be a lot of interesting things on the album, and I hope you like it.
In the video for "One Last Time", we could admire the beauty and class of Jaime King! How did the idea of the video was born and why, the choice fell on Jaime?
We are very good friends and she seemed right for the vibe. We have always wanted to do something together. I was like, "Will you do it?" and she said, "Yes!". She was great and fit perfectly. I thought she looked amazing.
Let's talk about tour and live concerts, what do you expect to feel when you'll be back on stage? Also, you've been here in Italy a couple of times already, is there a particular memory you have from your experiences here?
I honestly don't know what to expect when I get back on stage. Is there going to be hardly anybody there? Will people be standing really far apart? Is it gonna seem awkward? It's like getting back with a lover when you haven't seen them in a while. Or seeing them at a party after you've broken up. It'll be interesting, but I will be the same. I'm gonna be stoked!
My fondest memory from Italy: Sanremo was pretty incredible playing with a 70-piece orchestra and playing La Taranta and then singing in Italian and dancing with all these different people after. It was funny.
You have many people who support you and love your project, is there any message you've received so far, who touched you and more you the most?
Always. Most recently, when I was in Mexico, a mother and her two boys came up to me and she told me that her youngest son loved me and I was his favorite. He was this beautiful boy. A few days later, they found out where I was at a supermarket and the family came back again. The little boy was wearing a beautiful sarong and he wanted me to see him dressed like his true self and it was beautiful. I felt like that was his message to me, that I had allowed him to be himself and show his true colors. It was awesome.
