Today we return with another interview and a very special guest.
At one of her first acting experiences in the German web-series Druck, she immediately proved to be an incredibly talented person. Her talent, however, is not limited to this but also expands in the dancing and singing field. An artist to 360° and with a capital A.

How did your passion for acting began? Is there a moment you realized you wanted to do this as a job and what is your first memory related to it?
My passion for acting started with filming Druck, a german web series. During filming, it was my first gig, I really got into it, met a lot of people and developed this love for acting but my passion for the stage started when I was 8 years old in a dance performance where I was the main role. That's when I started to love stage and performing in front of people.
What would be 3 abjectives to describe yourself as an actress?
I would say adaptive, curious and pretty spontaneous.
Is there any dream role or a particular one, out of your comfort zone, you would like to play in the future to challenge yourself?
I think my dream role would be in a german soap opera, I used to watch tv with my friends and joking about how I would end up being on it. For the challenging one, something that relates to my personal issues or trauma. It would be very difficult to separate myself from the character and still protect myself and my mental health.
Imagine you have to shoot a movie, tv show or a specific scene to completly represent yourself, actorially speaking, and use a quote as the title for it, what would it be like? In terms of topic, prevalent colours during the scenes and soundtrack.
A quote that would fit the acting job that I'm doing would be 'I can see dead people from the sixth sense'. When we see characters in the script they're not alive yet and we, as actors, have to bring them to life so we see dead people but we see the living soul in them. As in for the soundtrack, an 80' soundtrack would be very nice. For a specif song, Africa by Toto.
We know that you dance and also have a passion for music, what are the styles that you like and listen to the most?
I really like showdance and jazz but also german folklore. I like group centered choreographies like in showdance and german folklore. I like this unity of dancing and performing together.
When it comes to music my style is very diverse, I can listen to a lot of things but mainly 2010s pop and Frederic Chopin.
How important do you think it is to spread your art through social medias nowadays? And how do you think this has affected you?
These days, especially during the pandemic and with social gatherings not being possibile, social media is a form of entertainment at the moment, and my main body of work being on Youtube, I think it's really necessary for us to explore this platform and this new stage that we have. I myself consume a lot of art through social medias and if it wasn't for them, and the fans spreading content all over the world, I wouldn't have such an audience globally and I'm very grateful for that.
You have surely received many messages from fans, what is the best and most meaningful thing they have said to you so far?
I received a lot of messages about how much they like what I'm doing but I think the most heartwarming was 'thank you for the representation'. Because you don't see a lot of asian-german actors in Germany and with me being in the series for example, I have the possibility to be the person I needed as a young girl to feel connected to and I think that's very beautiful.

Il suo talento però non si limita solo a questo ma si amplia anche nel campo della danza e del canto. Un'artista a 360° e con la A maiuscola.

Com'è iniziata la tua passione per la recitazione? C'è stato un momento in cui hai realizzato che volevi fare ciò come lavoro e qual'è il tuo primo ricordo legato ad essa?
La mia passione è iniziata filmando Druck, una web serie tedesca. Durante le riprese, era la mia prima esperienza, mi sono davvero appassionata, ho incontrato un sacco di persone e ho sviluppato questo amore per la recitazione ma la mia passione per il palco è iniziata quando avevo 8 anni in una performance di danza in cui ero il ruolo principale. È stato allora che ho iniziato ad amare il palcoscenico ed esibirmi davanti alla gente.
Quali sarebbero 3 aggettivi che ti descriverebbero come attrice?
Direi adottiva, curiosa e piuttosto spontanea.
C'è qualche ruolo dei tuoi sogni o uno particolare, fuori dalla tua comfort zone, che ti piacerebbe interpretare in futuro per sfidare te stessa?
Il mio ruolo dei sogni sarebbe in una soap opera tedesca, ero abituata a guardare la televisione con i miei amici e scherzare su come sarei finita in tv. Per quanto riguarda quello riguarda quello impegnativo, qualcosa che si riferisca ai miei problemi personali o trauma. Sarebbe davvero difficile distaccarmi dal personaggio e proteggere me stessa e la mia salute mentale.
Immagina di dover girare un film, tv show o una scena specifica per rappresentarti completamente, attorialmente parlando, ed usare una citazione come titolo per essa, come sarebbe? In termini di argomento, colori prevalenti durante le scene e soundtrack.
Una citazione che si adatterebbe al lavoro di recitazione che sto facendo sarebbe 'Posso vedere le persone morte dal sesto senso'. Quando vediamo i personaggi nella sceneggiatura non sono ancora vivi e noi, in quanto attori, dobbiamo portarli in vita quindi vediamo persone morte ma vediamo l'anima viva in loro. Come colonna sonora, una colonna sonora degli anni 80 sarebbe molto bella. Per una canzone specifica, Africa dei Toto.
Sappiamo che balli ed hai anche una passione per la musica, quali sono gli stili che ti piacciono ed ascolti di più?
Mi piace molto lo Showdance ed il Jazz, ma anche il folklore tedesco. Mi piacciono le coreografie incentrate sul gruppo come lo Showdance e il folklore tedesco. Mi piace questa unione del ballare ed esibirsi insieme. Quando si tratta di musica il mio stile è molto vario, posso ascoltare un sacco di cose, ma soprattutto pop del 2010 e Frederic Chopin.
Quanto pensi sia importante diffondere la propria arte attraverso i social media ai giorni d'oggi? E come pensi ciò ti abbia influenzato?
In questi giorni, soprattutto durante la pandemia e le riunioni sociali non possibili, i social media sono una forma di intrattenimento al momento, ed il mio corpo principale di lavoro essendo su Youtube, penso che sia davvero necessario per noi di esplorare questa piattaforma e questa nuovo palco che abbiamo. Io stessa consumo molta arte attraverso i social media e se non fosse per loro, e i fan che diffondono contenuti in tutto il mondo, non avrei un tale pubblico a livello globale e sono molto grata per questo.
Hai sicuramente ricevuto molti messaggi dai fans, qual'è la cosa più bella e più significativa ti hanno detto fino ad ora?
Ho ricevuto un sacco di messaggi su quanto gli piace quello che sto facendo, ma penso che il più commovente è stato 'grazie per la rappresentazione'. Perché non si vedono molti attori asiatici-tedeschi in Germania e con me nella serie per esempio, ho la possibilità di essere la persona di cui avevo bisogno di sentirmi connessa da giovane e penso che sia molto bello.
