Oggi con noi un altro super ospite.

Ha iniziato la sua carriera da molto giovane con la sua passione per la musica, recitazione e danza, apparendo in tv show come Glee e poi facendo tour in giro per il mondo con i suoi fratelli.

Ultimamente è stato coinvolto in qualche progetto attoriale, per esempio con Aliens on Hallowen, oltre che il suo progetto musicale con Riker and The Beachcombers e suonare per The Driver Era.

Diamogli un caloroso benvenuto e cominciamo!


Cominciamo dagli inizi, sappiamo che la tua passione per la musica ma anche per la recitazione e la danza sono iniziate molto presto nella tua vita, cosa diresti a te stesso del passato, presente e futuro? Preferiresti andare indietro nel tempo e rivivere un momento del tuo passato o vedere il tuo futuro?

Al me del passato direi di assimilare tutto perché non resterà per sempre. Specialmente durante il culmine degli R5, volevamo costantemente di più ma guardando indietro è stato così incredibile che penso avrei potuto apprezzare ciò che abbiamo avuto un po' di più. Sarebbe divertente rivivere il Sometime Last Night Tour, quell'intero anno e mezzo fu così meraviglioso che sul momento non sono riuscito a realizzare quanto davvero formidabile fosse. Sono più bravo a vivere il momento adesso di quanto fossi a 20 anni. Non penso di voler vedere il futuro, voglio solamente vivere ogni momento presente.

Parlando di recitazione e di Aliens on Hallowen, puoi dirci di più sulla tua esperienza sul set? E c'è qualcosa in particolare che fai per aiutarti ad entrare meglio nel personaggio?

Essere sul set di Aliens on Hallowen è stato così divertente. Ho avuto un cast ed una crew grandiosi e tutti hanno lavorato duramente. Mi sono sentito veramente sicuro nella mia regia oltre che nella mia recitazione. Non faccio niente di specifico per entrare nel personaggio, ma mi assicuro di sapere le mie battute perfettamente in modo di non essere concentrato sul dialogo e poter dirigere tutti gli altri così come improvvisare e dare vita al mio personaggio.

Nella tua carriera hai anche partecipato a Dancing with the Stars (Ballando con le Stelle) , se dovessi adattare una canzone di Riker and The Beachcombers per fare un'esibizione di latino, quale sceglieresti e quale sarebbe il mood della performance?

Sex on the Beach probabilmente si adatterebbe. Come tema sarebbe proprio come il mood del video musicale.

Sappiamo che sei stato in Italia un paio di volte in passato, hai qualche ricordo legato ad essa? E c'è qualche palco dei tuoi sogni o posto, ovunque nel mondo, dove vorresti suonare con Riker and The Beachcombers?

Il pubblico in Italia è sempre uno dei più calorosi e divertenti per cui suonare. L'energia lì è assolutamente incredibile e adoro ogni secondo. Il mio posto ideale in cui suonare con Riker and The Beachcombers sarebbe su una nave da crociera nei Caraibi o Red Rocks in Colorado.

Hi everyone!

Today with us we have another super guest.

He started his career very young with his passion for music, acting and dancing, appearing in tv shows like Glee and then touring all over the world with his sibilings.

Latetly he's been involved in some acting projects, for example with Aliens on Hallowen, as well as having his own musical project with Riker and The Beachcombers and playing for The Driver Era.

If haven't guessed it already, our guest is...Riker Lynch!

Let's give him a warm welcome and begin!


Let's start from the beginning, we know you've started your passion for music but also acting and dancing very early in your life, what would you like to say to your past, present and future self? Would you prefer to go back in time and relive a moment from your past or see yourself in the future?

To my past self I would say take it all in because it's not going to last forever. Especially at the peak of R5, we constantly wanted more but looking back it was so incredible I think I could've appreciated what we had a bit more. It would be fun to relive the Sometime Last Night tour, that whole year and a half was so amazing looking back and in the moment I didn't realize just how amazing it really was. I'm better at living in the moment now than I was when I was in my early 20s. I don't think I was to see the future, I just want to live in each present moment.

Talking about acting and Aliens on Hallowen, can you tell us more about your experience on set? And is there anything in particular you do to help you get more in character?

Being on set for Aliens was so fun. I had a great cast and crew and everyone worked so hard. I felt really confident in my directing as well as my acting. I don't really do anything specific to get in character but I really make sure I know my lines forward and backward so I'm not focused on my dialogue and I can direct everyone else as well as improvise and bring my character to life.

In your career you've also participated in Dancing with the Stars, if you had to adapt a Riker and The Beachcombers song to do a latin show dance, which one would you choose and what would be the mood of the performance?

Sex on the Beach would probably work. I'd theme it just like the music video mood.

We know you've been in Italy a few times in the past, do you have any memory related to it? And is there any dream stage and place, anywhere in the world, you would like to play in with Riker and The Beachcombers? 

The crowds in Italy are always one of the loudest and most fun to perform for. The energy there is absolutely incredible and I love every second of it. My dream place to play with Riker and The Beachcombers would be on a cruise ship in the Carribean or Red Rocks in Colorado.
